Any good for £40??

I'm normally a believer in the saying that you get what you pay for, but whats the collective view on one of these for an offroad jacket - maybe used the liner out of a tw@t jacket for additional warmth as required?

for 40quid you cant really go wrong? even as just a jacket to get covered in crap and ripped to feck, rather that then me twat suit!

looks ok especially for winter use surely cant be any colder than a twat suit ,,i use a pair of rst three finger gloves for the winter and would highly recommend them much warmer than the hg ones

“There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey.”

You have to wonder why, if they're any good, they didn't sell at the original low price?

Sure, at the knock-down price you won't mind too much if this el cheapo jacket only serves one winter, but if some 4x4-driving dickhead talking on his mobile T-bones you, how protective is a £40 jacket likely to be?

You are of course right - but I never could resist a bargain! I'm only looking for something to keep the mud n crap off though really, not provide impact protection - I wear full Dainese armour offroad so hope that does the trick
