Hi, can anyone tell me if these cheap code readers are any good, I’m looking you buy one to see if I can see why the engine management light is on. Many thanks

A similar one I have works for cars fitted with an OBD 11 port. Used one for years for diagnosis and to clear error codes.
I thought the bikes had a different port so these would not work.

Thanks Adrian, it’s for my daughters car Chrysler Grand Voyager 15 plate. :beerjug:

If the car is OBDII compliant then yes it should work.

However the yanks didnt adopt OBDII untill some time after everyone else, so it may run an earlier variant

Do a quick google search or look for a chrysler forum and ask the dreaded newbie question on there

That was you could potentially save your self some cash, and if it does use some arcane code system,

you may find some one willing to come out and read the codes for you
