Would there be much of a market for a 1200 adventure petrol tank? Taking a standard GS in with one fitted and considering putting it back to standard

No colour, it's just the tank itself and it's fitted to an 06 standard so assume 06 to 09 adv?

There is a difference in the panels alright, adv has long skinny side panels that meet the beak, standard GS has more full panels
The tanks don't have a colour. They have panels attached to them, which gives the bike its colour. (I stand to be corrected on this)

Correct, and yes, I have the adventure panels too, also adventure crash bars and adv seats too
What colour are the seats Mark??

No offence Mark but this is like drawing blood from a stone. So, let me help you start again. You have a 1200 ADV tank, with panels (colour of panels still not disclosed - condition not mentioned either) and your wondering if anyone would be interested in them? Now, just hazarding a guess but perhaps give all the info and you might find it would suit someone to do a straight swap from bike to bike. Perhaps someone even might like to swap the seats too!

No no, not for sale yet, like the original post said, wondering if there is a market, I know there is for the 1150adv tank, in a big way! But just never come across opportunity to sell a 1200GS Adv tank, answer to that will help me decide on whether I want to strip the bike down to a standard GS or not

Thanks, did you get it by undergoing what I'm suggesting now? Upgrading to adv spec?
