Some random guy who stopped me in the supermarket drooling over my bike ( ) told me that there was some off-road track outside Cheltenham. I wasn't particularly convinced... but I spent a little time browsing around Google maps and found this. The first pic shows where it is on the map.

Any of you guys know anything about it? I will just go and take a look around when I get time.

So I managed to get there for a quick scout around. Have pics that I will post tonight but it is a bit of fun. It is a bit of a dumping ground with a bit of rubbish in places, there were a few tearaways on dirt bikes (who were actually pretty handy) and there were a few 4X4s - there was still plenty of room. Mostly some good ascents and descents of varying difficulty. Not much room to build up any speed, unless you were on a dirt bike! I was on the HP2...

Could be good as a challenging big bike trials area...

I know where it is...But so do the feds
There's a RUPP that runs around it that we used to use ....
Due to the fact that cars get stolen and dumped there
the feds visit the place quite oftern...
I have heard that bikes have also been confiscated
It's not legal to use it so i would not recomend it
cuz you could end up with problems

100% correct, dont go anywhere the place.

But the descent down towards the Abbey is well worth doing, just watch the 2' step on the way down
