I've removed the boot, and piston from the front master cylinder of a 94 Funduro. Because I bleed the brakes at least twice a year it was relatively clean and the piston and rubbers looks like new. My problem now is to replace the boot. I see that the rebuilt kit has a few extra items. I can see them in the master cylinder (copper washer, white plastic washer and a rubber o-ring. The piston slide thr them at the entry of the hole where the boot was wedge in. All of these I have not removed. Can I remove them without damaging them and will I then be able to fit the boot easier or is there a way of fitting the boot without removing these items also?
