Any reason why not??? Autocom question

Ive got a kenwood connector from a older autocom, 700 or something.

I was wondering if there is any reason why it wouldnt work with a kit 200 active rider?

My understanding is that the normal lead for this radio doesnt have a 12 volt feed from the autocom on the active rider, the lead I have does.

Its the same 4 pin din.

Anybody offer some enlightenment?
