Any suggestions? iphone4 holder

Guys, as always, I`ve been fooling about in my garage and I have made an iphone 4 holder for my beloved bikes. It`s purely for me, helps me see if anyone is calling me and somewhere to sit my phone.

I never considered any commerical application but I will if I have the benefit of anyones valid and merited opinion. It uses a low cost silicone cover off fleabay on the phone to stop any vibration and one of those satnav RAM mount thingys which I use for my Tom Tom.

If it proved a good idea with appeal `to the masses` then I would sell them I think.

Any thoughts or opinions would be helpful, as I said, not intended for anyone else but me but with some help it might be worth doing! otherwise I`ll leave it on my bike and be a happy tosser!

I always remain thankful for any opinions and without them some of the stuff I have made would never have seen the light of day!

Great Idea.

Why not have a cut out on the bottom so you could add a charging lead if needed?

How much would they cost?

I'd be interested in one..

Ive already got a hole in the bottom of mine. haven`t thought about price whatsoever - one reason why I have done this for me is that the ones on the market seem mega bucks and I bet they haven`t made them as strong as I can.

With that said, if I do look at making them for sale they will be significantly cheaper (but not lower quality, if anything better quality) than some of the prices I`ve seen quoted

FWIW - I think its too in your face positioned where it is and in combination with your Tom Tom mount. Moreover, with the advent of Bluetooth, those using a Sat Nav can usually connect through the GPS unit or a dongle connected to the Autocom. So - not sure how popular it might be but, given your undoubted quality kit, those who bought one would I am sure be delighted.

How about a secure cradle for a Kenwood 3201 radio that keeps it upright for best signal and prevents it being tea-leafed while stopped for a drink? Happy to provide the measurements if you (and others) thought it worthwhile.

I am pretty sure that the Kenwood with the Autocom battery converter or it sown battery fitted is Water-resistant: IP54/55 and MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F.
