anybody fitted these chinese fork guards advise please

hi guys had a delivery of these chinese forks guards off ebay, can i ask if anyof you fitted these they come with 2 guards 4 screws and inner blocks shaped curved for the forks, you srew 2 of the blocks on the inside of the gurad
the blocks are curved se they fit on the lower fork you then pass a cable tie through the block aroungd the fork leg pull tight thats what hols it in place but it comes with a small reel of black tape i have no idea whats the tape for
anybody used these have a idea whats the tape for

protect the paint on the front of the lower fork leg, there advertised for 1150 1200 1250 none of these have upside down forks

Yep used them on my 1200, easy to fit and do the required job.

robbi i know how they fit fella thanks for that 4 cable ties to the fork legs what did you do with the real of black tape that comes in the kit do you put it aroung the leg where the cable tie goes roung the leg so its underneath the cable tie

I would suggest that you put it under the zip ties as you say as well as some on the fork legs at the top where the guard could rub on the tube.

I have a funny feeling they go top to bottom on one side of the protector like a spacer to keep the gap between the fork leg and the protectors the same both sides...... If that makes sense.
