On my 1250 I used the OBDlink and MotoScan. The latest beta version of MotoScan is supposed to include the 1300 but I'm not seeing it listed and won't connect to the bike. Anyone reset their service notice yourself yet?
There's a Motoscan update out which could be of use (I don't have a 1300 so can't test that functionality!). Following copied from the update:-On my 1250 I used the OBDlink and MotoScan. Why? Not arguing that the GS-911 isn't more functional but the Motoscan does just about everything for home servicing and costs a lot less £££. No point in draining the toy budget unnecessarily especially as the OP appears to already have Motoscan + OBD reader.Just buy the GS-911

Just curious, but why did you need to reset the service warning. Isn't your warranty at risk if you haven't had it serviced by an official dealer or another recognised business.Yes I've recently found the Motoscan newest beta release and it includes the 1300. I have reset my service warning
I've never known a manufacturer to have a clause in the warranty forbidding you from changing your own oil/filter. As long as you use approved parts and fluids and proper intervals. I need to reset the warning so I don't get the service warning every time i start the bikeJust curious, but why did you need to reset the service warning. Different countries have different laws. They can't stop you in the UK as long as you use approved filters and oil but it I don't think it's worth the risk if anything does go wrong in future. The dealer should also check for software updates etc. (hopefully!).I've never known a manufacturer to have a clause in the warranty forbidding you from changing your own oil/filter.
