Anybody getting any discount off a new ADV?

Is anyone managing to get any hard earned spondoolicks off an advance order for the R12 ADV as a discount or extra's thrown in? If so how much and where?

Given LC buyers experience earlier this year I wouldn't bother with an advance order. The dealers just bank them and then give the available stock to the walk in buyers who still have the option to go elsewhere. So if you place an advance order you are more likely to wait longer and receive your bike later.

I reckon on there being no great deals initially unless you trade in an LC. No free panniers /sat nav/ etc until at least 2 years after launch , just like now . I bought a 1200 GSA in 2006 , launched in March , had to wait until september for one . Traded my GSA SE and got £8000 for it so was happy at the time . Like everyone I wish I'd kept the SE as well !!

Any discount to be had off the watercooled gs now its been out a year.........anyone managed a discount as a buyer with no px?

I got about £900 quid of my twin cam which i bought new. Might sway me to the gs if the dealer are likely to chip a bit off, or chuck me some factory extras in.
