This information is from the BMW maintenance CD torque values section.
----------------------------------------------------------
Chain sprocket to chain-sprocket carrier
Replace nuts
Mechanical thread lock
Initial torque, 10 Nm
Final torque, 90°
-----------------------------------------------------------
This info is for bikes with 8mm? fixing bolts, late 2009/2010 the size of bolts was increased to 10mm. I remember MCN commenting on losing a sprocket nut off their early test bike. I have not heard of anybody shearing the early bolts in normal use so put locktite on the threads and just nip them up tight.
ILMV posted his just as I was writing mine. I think 25 Nm is a much easier torque to set than using an angle gauge, My info disk is BMW service CD 1st edition 03/2008 so it looks like some things have changed. I must find out how to insert images & text from the CD.

Cuprinol Man, you can aquire a copy of the CD from Greggers who donates money to Air-ambulance, far cheaper than the £55 i paid.![]()
