Anybody using AdventureSpec riding kit?

Gravel trousers arrived this morning, size is exactly as per the number, quality seems very good as does comfort. I wore them today on a wee trip to Lairg for a night, long johns under and they were fine at 10 degrees. Quite stiff material but that’s part of being new and being protective.
I like the features and they do have a reputation for being very fair with any issues.
Not complaining that I can’t comment on how waterproof they are just yet.
I intend purchasing a pair of gravel trousers for next year. All for my trail riding in Normandie.

Previously used KLIM Traverse but getting fed up of the Velcro flapping on the legs.

Anybody tried the latest version of the Linesman jacket and/or troos?
I bought mine about 10 months ago, when did the latest come out?

For the record I’m very happy with mine, wore them on my Greece trip last year

Thanks for the reply. Were you on or off tarmac - or a mix? I'm looking for a suit good for mixed touring that doesn't get too hot but that doesn't flow too much air. But like the old GS Rally suit without the liners. Have tried the Klim Baja S4 but in normal weather it just flows too much.

On the other hand, when I looked at the Linesman jacket at their last pop-up shop, it didn't seem to breathe at all - I got the sense that, whilst not waterproof, out was pretty windproof...

The trousers let air through more than the jacket but I was comfy, on road and easy off road. You can open the vents in the jacket though i just used the front zip when needed. If cold and wet i added a shell.
I was only up to mid to high 20’s and that was fine. Above that I’d open all the vents and maybe wet the front.

My suggestion would be to get a jacket with decent airflow and get the Klim Zephyr wind shirt.

Also look at the Klim Marrakech, very good for mixed on road/off road. Air flow isn’t as high as the Baka or Induction jackets.

I’ve also get an older AS jacket - Mongolia? I’d say it doesn’t flow enough air in warmer countries off-road, but otherwise very good. Not as comfortable as the Marrakech though

Or you just buy the supershirt for underneath the Linesman jacket, and either unzip the arms from the jacket, or take the jacket off. Supershirt CE rated same as my Rukka jacket.

Ta. I’ve got a Zephyr. Great bit of kit but doesn’t alter the issue that Baja flows too much air for anything other than genuinely hot weather.

Marrakesh is an option…

This

Game changer in the same class as the Aerostich Roadcrafter. I wear the Supershirt, and whatever I want on top.

Yep new linsman long version, as with my previous pair jackt and supershirt all very good fit fine, quality ace, new knee armour is fucking shite, threw it away and replaced with ghost it was unuseable

Fair comment - but it’s not easy doing six thousand miles without a spot of tarmac and a caff every now and then :D
Should have kept the competition rallye jacket, klim zephyr and a scott for the outside?
