Anyone wear any Halvarssons kit?

I'm thinking if getting Halvarssons Prime jacket and their Prince trousers for winter. I've currently got some lovely Lindstrands gear (Qattara jacket & GI trousers) which I'm really happy with but I'm not confident the zipped/vented areas are going to be waterproof enough for winter. Ive decided I can't afford Rukka, Klim or BMW gear.

Halvarssons seems great quality for the money, but dies anyone here wear it?

Yes I do. I have the prime jacket in white. Well it starts off white, then it gets off white, and you get the idea. good jacket.

Would you consider the Prime to be suitable for winter use? How water proof would you say it is?

Yep jacket and troosers, very good kit indeed.

I have Prince jacket and prime trousers. Ridden in horrendous wet weather over distance and remained dry.
Ridden through winter in cold temps and was warm.
Good kit

It's good to have a balancing view, even if it was only because she couldn't ram her butt into a pair of Halvarsson trousers.

Halvarssons kit is very good but the sizing is weird, I was going to buy a pair of trousers a few years ago, I am a 34 waist and even going up to a size 38 waist the legs of the trousers were not big enough to get up over my thighs (they aren't that big).
We tried at the shop and eventually I got on a pair of 40" waist trousers, fit on the legs was good but the size of the waist made them look like clowns pants.
Eventually bought Rukka , perfect fit and a size 34" waist.
I would be very careful about buying them without trying them ie over the internet........bit like Rukka gloves

Just visited Branded Biker (J&B bikes) in Boston which is where I got my Lindstrands outfit from and I tried on the Halvarssons Prime jacket. Whilst my Lindstrands jacket is a size 62, I needed a 66 in the Prime. Anyway, I've ordered the Prime jacket and Prince trousers. If the trousers are an awkward fit then ill end up having to return them. But I'll then not know whether to keep the jacket!!

By the way, Branded Biker were very helpful and are happy for me to return them if I change my mind. They have a nice display of Halvarssons & Lindstrands.
