Anyone fit a Stebel Horn?

I am looking at purchasing one of these horns. Anyone fir the to a 1200GS. Is the installation complicated?

STEBEL MAGNUM HORN (TWIN PACK) - 139dB

Fitted a single Magnum, fits straight onto the o/e spot, point the horn bit down and away so as not to fill with water.
I spliced the wires and soldered two leads with spade connectors on, so can re-fit the o/e any time.
Well worth mod

got one would not be without it, worse bit is fitting the wires to the horn I soldered the ends and put them in the holes of the plug that is removed but no doubt there are better ways

Is that dual horn setup?

nope single more than enough

The dual horns fit on the bike but you need to take a bit of time fabricating the brackets.

Do a search, North posted some pics which helped me when I was fitting mine.

Never heard the single horn but the dual version has a great sound and it's very loud!!!!

other way is to drill a small hole in the bottom of the plastic horn section - the water drains away like magic.

WARNING - do NOT test the newly fitted horn in an enclosed space with your ears nearer than 50 feet away.

I put the single one on, it's easier to fit and plenty loud enough. At least it doesn't sound like a pizza moped anymore!
