Anyone fitted Wunderlich Rider Footrest Lowering Kit ?

Done a search and can't find anything.

My problem is adjusting the position of the gearshift.
The instructions talk about removing a springclip, disengaging the top socket and twisting this to change length of connecting rod.

Two problems, can't see a springclip to remove and can't see how this would help even if I could find it.

So .....

Can the length of the connecting rod be adjusted by disengaging the lower ball and socket and can the procedure be done wiithout removing the fairing.

I've got them fitted and never touched the brake lever. I had more problems with getting the footrests fitted.

Have you tried the brake without adjusting? Obviously on the centre stand and not on the road. I really don't remember having to do that step. My back brake works perfectly. My bike is a 2012.

I adjusted the brake, no problem, the difficulty is with the gearshift. It just feels awkward, like having to reach for it. Maybe it's just because it's slightly different and will feel better with use.
I agree though, for such a simple looking thing, they are a bugger to line up properly for inserting the pin.
