Without a 6” leg extension I can’t reach the crash ar mounted one.

He has a website up at www.migsel.com
Bought one for my R100GS years ago as I couldn't reach the stand back then...ze Germans must have much longer legs than us!

A word of warning - I had a Migsel on my R80G/S. It was a massive lump of metal but still managed to bend very easily.

Probably not very helpful …

Do you think the Surefoot one is better? Mrs Berin has one and hasn’t broken it yet, and she breaks most things.

You’ve been on the brave pills.

I’ve not seen one of those - and wonder if you can still get them? Though if you have one already I know a fabricator who could make a ‘homage’ as they say in the watch world.

But I wouldn’t buy another Migsel.

Were you getting on the bike by standing on the peg? I heard that modern stands are now designed to cope with that but back in the day it was a no no as the stands weren’t strong enough.

I had no problems with the Migsel stand on my R100GS which I sold some years ago.

I have another one in stock for when I buy my next airhead. Not planning to sell it but if I change my mind I will let you know Martin.

I have Migsel stands on 2 of my airheads.
Find them Excellent....
Coped ok on a ferry with a bloody great strap over seat.... whilst leaning over on the Migsel !!

Thanks all. I’ve spoken to Michel and the Migsrand in en-route.

I saw a couple on EBay but they could well be moody, I reckon.
