Anyone got Mapsource 6.15.11 saved??

Just updated my new Zumo 660 with CNEU 2011.20 to my laptop and home computers.

Disaster All the maps on both computers irrespective of version and age are showing loads of "2"s like little ducks along the routes!!.

Has to be a mapsource issue because all the map sets were ok before the download of CNEU 2011.20 with Mapsource 6.16.?? the latest version.

Is it possible to roll back and reinstall Mapsource 6.15.11 to see if this fixes the problem.?

If so can anyone mail me a file to [email protected].

If you call Garmin they will / should activate an earlier set of maps for you in 'My Garmin'.

It's odd this number thing running along some of the roads. A friend of mine has it, too. Whilst I do not.

We are both otherwise running identical mapsets.

I paid a vist to that website and my laptop now has an adware virus on it. Be careful downloading from there. Looks like a job for spybot later today.

I rang Garmin and they appear to be aware of the problem. They are working on a fix but cant say when it will be available. I have requested that they activate a set of maps with mapsource 6.15.11 so I can downgrade for the time being. They will e mail me later to let me know if this is possible/allowed.There seemed to be a question about downgrades not being possible in Mapsource but they were going to check this.

Ho Hum, it really has become a lottery lately with Garmin and software.

what a load of bollocks..... of course its possible to downgrade - just replace the mapsource .exe file with an older version.

Just downloaded 2011.30 and all the unwanted "ducks" have vanished. Looks like Garmin have bundled a fix for the Windows XP/Mapsource problem with the download.
