For anyone who is intereste din flying the irish aircorp marcetti warriors are still for sale in states. fetching a hefty price over 250k dollars but these are all fully restored with zero timed engines and airframes so nearly good as new if not better.

i would give my left nut for one of these.

be nice see them come back to ireland again. think due fact were overhauled and put on coa they can be brought back. heard rumours that couldnt be bough direct from air corp due to them being military spec and certified as such

Lovely airplanes. They did the same back in the 50's or 60's when they got rid of the Spitfires.

Alouette, great machine, was lucky enough to crew them in Cyprus, simple, cheap, reliable and great to fly. Like a Gazelle stripped out

The Maltese are still flying them! I'm flying the 130 now, which is an evolution of the design. Very nice machine!
