It's actually another website of Hornig, and I've ordered plenty from them without any problems at all.

Maybe that particular seat is only available to order, so they go to Kahedo and get the price as a special order and then come back to you?

They are great to deal with though, and offer massive savings on the prices here in the UK

The price should be cheaper if anything. The exchange rate for sterling v euro is really good at the moment.

Maybe, and I agree with you, but it's not a stock item, so if Kahedo are charging Hornig more, that cost gets passed on (just taking a wild guess at this) . Could always buy it from Touratech UK for £150 more :) :)

Yes - bought a Touratech/Kahedo seat from them for my Triumph Tiger a month or so ago. Paid the price quoted on the website for the item and saved well over £100 compared with buying from Touratech UK. I assume the price discrepancy you've had by email is a communications issue, but why would you ask them when the price and shipping costs are all on the site anyway? :nenau

If you're happy buying from them (and I would be happy to order from them again) just order via the website and pay by credit card so you're covered if there are any issues.

I've bought from them on several occasions, have had great service, and their prices are always much cheaper than Touratech UK.:thumb

There's no stock indicated so you have to contact them - still don't get why the website price doesn't apply - a bit of a cheek, but as you all say, they are way cheaper....

I have the standard height Kahedo seat on my GSA. It's all day comfy and I can reach the floor as easily as with the GS seat.

GSA seat was just a bit to high for me and its like a plank to sit on. The GS seat was ok for height but too soggy with a lump at the back right under my coccyx.
