anyone removed the rear indicator via the connecter

As in the title, i need to replace a broken rear indicator on my GSA, they have a connecter for 'easy' exchange which is buried deep in the black housing which they attach to. Anyone done this as it seems im going to have to remove a fair few bits of bodywork :confused:

 
The connectors are clipped either side under the big silver plastic moulding, you might be able to get at them without having to take it off, try undoing the number plate mount first and see if the wires are clipped in underneath.

Yeah they are clipped in :blast
