Was looking at the American Advrider website the other day. I've got to give it to the Yanks, they are polite and helpful and not as sanctimonious as some in this site can be (yeh, go on flame me! 
), but that's beside the point.
Whilst reading through Advrider website I came across an article by Jim Von Baden. It blew me away. Clear, concise and helpful. Somewhere in the thread he mentioned that they have a get together periodically in his state and have a 'techy' session. How to change tyres, do this, do that. I thought what a good idea. Does anyone do this in the UK? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd be interested. Promise to bring me own teabag and biscuits!
When the warranty runs out, I'll either want to be doing as much for myself maintenance-wise, or I'll have traded it in for something else (the K1200 is looking nicer all the time).
Anyhow just a thought. By the way - definitely check out Advrider and J von B's contributions. Inspiring is probably the best compliment I can give the guy.
