For the last month or two my Givi topbox (V42 IIRC) has been playing up.
It's a monokey jobby, and although the flap locking thing still works and the box itself locks on the key, the button you push to release it from the base plate is unlocked even when the box is locked.
It sounds like a connecting rod or mecahnism is shagge to me- I've WD40's it and cleaned everything I can get to with a toothbrush and enetrating oil but it's still knackered.
Anyone ever taken one apart successfully or know how they work before I start attacking it??
