I've gotten one of the Migsel GPS mounts for my Zumo and I'm just wondering where others hide the power and audio (to the autocom) cables? I don't want to let them hang down over the dashboard as it's not tidy.

I did think of just drilling a small hole in the silver dash cover and running the cables in there but wanted others solutions....

So, for those that use a Migsel GPS mount, where do you hide your cables?

I have a Migsel mount on my 1150 which I use with a 2610.

I brought the cables up the left hand side and along the top of the clocks to the right hand side of the 2610 where they attach.

I left some slack in the cable so than I can loop a piece of elastic over the end to hold the cables up above the clocks when not in use,the elastic on mine is looped round the left Tobinator bracket.

Seems to do the job of keeping the cables away from the clocks

Take the silver cover off and cut a small semi circle in the top of the clock facia. I did this then run the cables and along the central clock sub frame support under the tank to an Autocom thats in the space the ABS pump would be if the bike had ABS!:)
