Anyone tried this helmet security

But of a waste spending $60 on something that push bike lock could do IMO

that diameter of steel wire could be easily cut, then again, most people dont carry cutters

I used to use a top box. Then someone stole it while the bike was parked in a busy London street in daylight. Probably one of those that end up on eBay.

what you need is a lock to lock yer top box to the bike and decent lock for the top box to prevent anyone one busting it open to steal..............

nothing as you now carry yer lid with you..:blast

As Onwalkabout posted above...

http://www.pacsafe.com/www/index.php?_room=3&_action=detail&id=27

Me and The Minister of War and Finance have one each for when we go touring, as our bikes are then fully laden. The Pacsafes are fab... pack up small, fully waterproof and as secure as anything else :thumb2 (if anyone REALLY wants your stuff, they're gonna get it whatever you do).

The cheaper alternative has been suggested by Whatton... just as secure, but not waterproof. I reckon you pays yer money etc. etc.

HTH

i rather liked the helmet secure thing. the pacsafe is nice too, but you'd need to buy, and carry, two if you take a pillion.

the chrome's a bit much though.
