Is this something we know on this forum.
A lady friend of my wife came round the house the other day and showed me a copy of I think it was the guardian from last week , with an article on born-again bikers or the over 50s biking or something like that. And there was this photo of an airhead what looked like an infamous person on it anyone else see it?

It contains an interesting podcast article on the ageing demographic of motorcycle riders. I hope the trend changes. I'm putting my faith in:

a - Manufacturers attracting young hipsters, using Ducati Scramblers and the like, bringing new blood onto motorcycles.
b - KTM, who seem to be making smaller bikes cool, in a 'Red-Bull' sort of way.

Not being a red-bull drinker or hipster, these cunning ploys are not for me, but it would be nice if today's young-uns could enjoy bikes like we did.

Of course! I'm from the Midlands not some light weight southern softy.

My input for the article was a two minute telephone call and the use of a picture David nimrod (who is a guardian photographer) took a few months ago. I think they were stuck for some input and David volunteered me.
