As recommended by Doc and, I know used by others, this ‘apartment’ hotel works pretty well.
OK, it has no restaurant but, each room has its own, sink, fridge basic cutlery and plates, along with a toaster and kettle. There is a pretty decent Penny store, five minutes walk away. All good enough for breakfast, making a sandwich and buying a couple of beers to stick in the fridge.
There is good parking for motorcycles and cars, all behind an automatic barrier gate, the hotel (he’s very friendly) owner gives you a blipper.
About 15 minutes walk, along the river Mosel, into town, all along the flat and with a wide pavement.
