Apple Email: Title there but content missing

Has anyone noticed that once they moved or copied emails on their Apple email account the title of the email remains but the content seems to disappear and cannot be found. it seems only to be occasioned on MacBooks as iPads and iPhone have still got the content!!! Bizarre

if so, do you have a fix for getting the content back.

Ive tried posting on the Apple Community forum but that s as much use as a chocolate teapot!!

Grateful for any help here guys as I'm now missing some important emails

I've had this very occasionally.

Try clicking on reply or forward and the text appears. You can then copy it to Word or something to save the detail.

I've only had this three or four times. Try rebuilding your mailbox. Someone else may have a better fix than me.

Have you tried logging in to the webmail server on your ISP? Will usually have all your inbox but not necessarily sent items - depends on your client etc.
