Toying with the idea of getting another enduro bike, and i've always fancied one of the Aprilia RXV's, but they don't seem very popular.

Shame as i think they look stunning :drool:drool:drool:drool:drool:drool

Has anyone one this forum had one? what do they handle like? how long does the engine tend to last (or doesn't it?)?

They looked stunning when they first came out, and i fancy something a little different to anything from the KTM umbrella or from the land of the rising sun.

Hi!

A friend of mine has one since five years.
His friend is an APRILIA dealer.
Just for trailriding.
No problems with the engine and the rest.
I rode one for 2 times and this bike is excellent (for me).
Very soft and really powerful engine and good suspension.
Straight going in deeper tracks and mud.

Some people here in G. write in the forum that they have problems with the starter.
They say under cold conditions it starts badly and that's too much for the little starter.

Bikes under 1000km you can buy for 3000 to 4000€.
It is also not very popular here in Germany.

Thanks for the feedback mike, does the Aprilia headshake at all? does it need a steering damper like some ktm's or does it feel quite stable?

No headshaking,no damper.
As I said like I ride this bike.
Very stabil straight going.
