Yet there's nothing on their website.....TX-5 is a complete news to me... weird how there was no fan fare about its release nor is there much about it in the media or YouTube.Bike Stop in Stevenage have them on display
Bike Stop put an Instagram post a week ago showing off their display full of new TX-5 helmets but were asked to delete it until the official release is announced. First deliveries expected in January apparently...Yet there's nothing on their website.....TX-5 is a complete news to me... weird how there was no fan fare about its release nor is there much about it in the media or YouTube.
Indeed I wear both Neotec 2 as well as Arai QV Pro. both fit near identical, Arai seem to be a tad comfier. Have both Schuberth C3 Pro and E1, like them, but they both cause me too much pain in the jaw line.I’ve always been loyal to Arai (30 years) but wanted a change to a flip lid. Shame they don’t make them. I’ve gone for the Shoei Neotec 2 and I’m surprised how similar the fit is to my Arais.
That is what I thought, as nothing showing on their website. I bet they pissed a few people off with that stunt.Bike Stop put an Instagram post a week ago showing off their display full of new TX-5 helmets but were asked to delete it until the official release is announced. A strip or two of insulating tape across the inside of the visor, just above the eye line works a treat to block out very low sun.Any owner feedback on the Arai Tour X5? Id forgotten how bad the low sunlight is this time of year so peaked seems the way to go having had the hornet previously.
Ive tried everything on these seem the best fit for me along with the Shoei GT Air 3 (no peak sadly) I didn't like the Nexx and the Klim is a lot more money. Any buyer remorse?
What intercom are you using.
Cheers![]()
I was mulling that over as I seem to remember a peak can be noisy, hoping the x5 aint too bad (generally speaking as all diff heights etc) , I can return if not worn.A strip or two of insulating tape across the inside of the visor, just above the eye line works a treat to block out very low sun.
