ARDcase on S10

Don't have one yet, but am on the hunt for a Super Tenere.

I have a pair of 42ltr ARDcases on my 1150GS, which I'm very happy with and want to transfer onto my next bike.

Slight problem with the exhaust though, which I understand can't be stubby'd like the GS. Givi racks look symmetric and their 33ltr trekker cases don't look too bad with the left bag sticking out only slightly further than the other. However the Touratech rails look quite far out on the left. I could find any pics of matching cases on TT rails.

Anyone know of places that make symmetric pannier rails for the S10 that will work with ARDcases(with TT type puck fittings)...or any other way I can fit symmetric cases?

Roger at Ard Cases should be able to advise on racks. He used to be the agent for Holan racks but I don't know if that is still the case. Given the popularity of the S10 I'd say that he will know where you can get them.

Hi Deny
The best option would be the Holan asymetric pannier rack . They sit closer than the Touratech and will fit the new model . The pucks will fit too . I dont know of anyone making symetrical racks though .I hope that helps .

I've got Hepco & Becker QR frames on my S10, and H&B junior boxes ( part of a good deal I got)
At some stage I'll get a pair of Ard Cases to put on the H&B frames.

The junior flash panniers are equal size and look fine ...I'd probably go for same size if I go for the Ard Cases.....unless there's a cut out for exhausts I reckon asymmetrical boxed always look odd
