An opportunity came about for me to buy a used set of ARDcases from sth1 (cheers Steve
); and when I say 'used' they are still like new, as is the rack that was included!
Whilst the OEM panniers were fine and dandy (and remain in fab condition), I always wanted an upgrade to something more robust/ more able to carry heavier loads. These panniers certainly do this, notwithstanding the ability to carry fuel bottles when on a trip
What I might do is have the finish changed to a different colour as the blue isn't growing on me. Roger at http://ardcases.co.uk/ is happy to oblige, so it's now a case of figuring out what colour or combo to have them re-powdercoated - i.e. silver, gunmetal, black or a lid/body combination therof? Thoughts???
