Hi
Are there any companies, who make nice comfortable seats for the 650GS, maybe with a gel insert? I know about Bagster but they are very expensive. There must be others.

Thanks
Linda

Corbin make a replacement seat for the bike but it's pretty wide being designed for the American posterior :augie

Kahedo in Germany make seats for the bike including a low version which is sold by Touratech and Wunderlich (re branded to each company) which Ms Cheek's finds very comfortable compared to the stock item.:thumb

Wilbur from the F650 site does some kid of seating options, he's cheap compared to any of the others. Not fancy though.:thumb

I've got one of these beasts and started with the low seat which I found rather uncomfortable.
Bought a standard / high seat from this parish here and the difference is remarkable as it's now really comfy.
Now all of these may well depend on your height of course but I'm 5' 10" if that helps at all.

I have 2 seats at present, which have been re-upholstered & re-covered.

See photos & details at my Blog on www.f650.co.uk

Designed for the comfort of the taller rider (less severe knee bend) & to allow the rider to sit anywhere on the seat without that annoying ridge getting in the way.

Hi Linda from another Linda :beerjug:

As Thunder mentioned above, I've tried various seats on my 650 - the Corbin was like riding on a slippery breadboard :(, but I'm currently very happy with the Wunderlich low.

The best way to find out which one's for you is to try them, if possible - not always feasible, but the seat's easy to change and you might find someone who'll lend you a seat for a test ride.

These are excellent - I've only done about 3000mls. on mine so far but I'm very pleased, you do need to be able to cope with the extra height though.
