Hi all.

I am heading to NI in the next day or two, partly to take in the Armoy road races.
Where abouts on the course is it best to view from please ??

Thanks all.

. .see you soon

Hi newbuild (unless i'm too late ). I only found this Thread by accident. Anyhow,if you have not seen it already,the Armoy Club Site has this Guide;

http://www.amrrc.com/track-facts.aspx

There is a Map somewhere too. I sorted out with Work to get time off (Short Notice,as ever) and will be crossing at 09.30 Friday AM from Stranraer. I reckon to be at the Circuit for 13.30ish.
I'll head straight for Robo's Corner - the Left Hander at the end of the Start Straight - where i'll be Marshalling. I'll be the one with the Crocodile Dundee Hat/Southern 100 Club Overalls. Maybe see you there ?

just sit on wall on left as the bikes go out of village and take in the a great national road race or if you can make it to dundrod 150 0n thursday or the ugp on sat 14 august it is the dogs bits enjoy your stay regards ray

Well, I just got back folks.
A great few days, (apart from the pissing rain on practice day !!)
I was sat on the wall on the right in Armoy, so perhaps i was sat opposite you Raymond !
I think next year, i will spectate at Armoy and then UGP a week later, if the dates coincide.
We (me and her indoors) did all the Dunlop things (Joeys bar, the memoriams etc) and also the racing nostalgia thing at Ballymoney museum. This is worth it, although i dont think its a permanent exhibition.
Thanks to all of you in Ireland. You made our week over there great.
I cant wait to download me piccies
See you in 2011.

Yes,and i was just down the Road from the Pair of you at Robo's !! Did you get to see Hugh O'Kane's Classic Collection ? Not as many bikes as Last Year as the Display was in the Workshop rather than the Car Salesroom, but still worth a look. A most amazing collection of Badges and other Memorabilia there, too. Put it on the "To Do" List for next Year.
I wimped out as there is no B&B in Armoy and i did not want to travel too far from the Circuit,i went in my Van/Tent and Parked at the Rugby Club.

No, didnt get to see that collection fellow but yes, it goes on the "plan to do" list for 2011 (twixt Armoy and UGP)

PS . I think there may be a B/B in Armoy. If you scan the programme, I saw an advert in there I think. I will have a look later, my programme is buried in my panniers somewhere !!!
