Ashby Folville Bike Night is back on

just received this email;

Just to let you know that a new landlord, ( Bob ) has taken over the " Carrington

Arms " Pub at Ashby Folville and would like to start the " Bike Nights " up again.

They will be held on the first Tuesday in the month starting on the 7th of April

from 6.0pm onwards.

Bob, apparently, is a landlord that will stand for no nonsense. So, to keep these

" Bike Nights " going, we do not need people pulling wheelie's or silly stunts in

the village otherwise the Police will get involved again and will stop it.

If I'd known you were going, I'd have gone. Went up to Nottingham to buy some coffee.. Long story, but still got a run out. (to a supermarket)

Yes, I was there on 12th April. Although it was pretty quiet, there were enough folk to have a decent chat. Cups of tea were only £1 from the BBQ outside - a vast improvement on the old bar price for a brew.
