yes today i took ownership of a lovely 1150gs from fellow ukgser Keith6233.
top fella, gave me every bit of paperwork that belonged to it. took time showing me whats what (i still pressed r/h indicator switch thinking it was the start button)
put sixty miles on it today after work, every mile i was thinking to myself "why didn't i do this sooner".
needless to say got back, stripped baglux cover off, washed her thoroughly and have given her a coat of polish before the tank cover goes back on.
Just wanted to shout a hug "THANK YOU" to keith for supplying a belting bike, the smile is still on my face as im sat here typing.
going to try and add some pics now so lets see if it works.

"think i may leave tank cover off, think it looks better"

we should have big a Northwest ride out soon, not done one for a while..:)
the last one rudiemoto organzied.

I can't believe that no-one's started taking the p**s, yet... I mean, he's got 40+ posts under his belt...

You seem to have some interesting gang marks on your driveway. Better keep the bike chained to a big, hungry dog ;)

The bike looks really tidy, BTW :thumb2

Yes my 4 year old and 2 year old boys discovered the box of chalk in the garage, needless to say the driveway looked like a huge blackboard.

Nice looking bike.

Can we arrange for a NW ride out for sometime in July? I'm off to the Outer Hebrides on my jollies and will be having GS withdrawal symptoms by the time I get back !!

sounds great to me, im going to get out for a good days riding next week.

Count me in too..... I need to get some miles on the new 1200 GSA

Righto, i will post what day im off next week and will get something planned.

How about a bimble next Sunday with Jono, and anyone else that fancies it? Possibly upto the lakes to do a few passes taking in Salter Fell on the way up??:D:D Although I wouldn't do salter fell on road tyres. There's a couple of rocky uphill sections where nobblies are required...but we could leave Salter out if needs be...
