The AT is not in the same class. Its a nice bike for sure.
The AT is a BIG dirt bike no question. It is NOT a BIG Adventure bike by any stretch.
It is not a GS/A and never will be
It is not a Ducati MS/E and never will be
This isn't a realistic measure. Simple test. Ride for 350 miles, whats sorry you need to stop at least twice to fill up, oh dear (he says leaving you behind top gear style - the JC/JM/RH one)
The way I see it you by the bike because you want that bike. I doubt few will ever be so undecided beforehand and to pitch the two/three/four/more into the same choice
By the think because you want that thing and for fucks sake stop comparing apples and oranges its helping no one.
(There is an analogy with girls here but I can't quite think of one. Something like Mary Berry and Margot Robbie, take care one you in the kitchen or the bedroom but not both
Assuming Margot is a shit cook and Mark is no good in bed. Probably a crap analogy but I think you get where I am going)

Am I missing something here, I thought Stev was just pointing a fact out not comparing bikes
The AT does look like a nice Adventure Bike for the riding I do. I love my GS, but I have been lusting after a big KTM. Now I am not so sure.
