The modding element of the new monkey is wild. When i had my 19 plate bike there were lads on the monkey and grom forums who had spent twice as much on accessories as the bike cost originally. Thats an eight grand bike.
The minimum opener was a Yoshi RS3 at £850 de cat. This adds between a half and one horsepower! Eg 9->10 overall. After a couple of months the same guys would be flogging their Yoshi’s as the drone when flat out was awfull. Then of course there’s Ohlins £600/800, new forks, Intake kits, 80cc conversions and anodised everything!
They will lap up bodywork kits for fun.
