Have just fitted a couple of Small, round electronic buzzers to the front indicators on my 1150GS, but could be fitted to most bikes I am sure, so I now have a cheap and effective audible warning that my indicators are on.
They only cost £1.69 each from Maplins or I would think any electronic shop.
Only took 15 mins to fit and a few pieces of double backed tape.
They are 12V 35mA 450Hz and 80dB of sound.
Excellent for when riding through town, Although not as effective when on the motorway.

Worth a try before you shell out on expensive self cancelling systems.

I fitted these a few months ago and they work well if you don't wear earplugs and if you are riding below 50mph. It's a cheap mod and easy to make.

Agreed, bought the Maplins one and fitted it to my Valkyrie....bugger when you turn the alarm on and off though ( which also activates indicators).....sounds like world war three..in beeps !!!!
