Go on, go for a test ride ... you'll fall in love with it before you realise it :thumb2

Welcome to UKGSer, join in where you can. Its so much more fun if you do.

I waited over 25 years to get my first boxer. My R100LT. If you have waited this long you will love it when you buy one. I want more of them now.

Welcome aboard, Stormcloud. Take one for a test ride and I'm sure you will be surprised. Swapped with a mate ('07 Yamaha FZ1) the other day on a winding road and his first comment on getting off at the other end was 'That thing steers itself - you don't even need to be on it!' Didn't much care for his buzzy little 4 cylinder either really.

Go for the test ride.
You will be at Glendambo roadhouse with fly's on your teeth before you realise how much fun you are having.
