Hi Guys ...

You might have seen my earlier posts ...

I'm hosting an evening with the leg end that is Austin Vince down here in Wimborne, if anyone's never heard of him ( :toungincheek ... really?) this is a great opportunity to come and listen to a real raconteur who has genuinely interesting and scythingly funny things to say about the world of the adventure motorcyclist.

The venue :

Colehill Sports and Social Club,
108 Wimborne Road,
Rowlands Hill
Colehill
Wimborne BH21 2QR

50 48.349N
01 58.516W

The evening's jollity will start around 7:30, hopefully with a few of Austin's short films and should end at around 10-10:30...

The event is being hosted in support of Julia's House, the Dorset Childrens Hospice (charity reg: 1067125), so there will be local benefit to local children as well.

This will be a rip-roaring evening, you will laugh to the point of hernia at times... If you went to see the Charley Boreman show when it was in town I guarantee you won't be disappointed ...

AV gets funnier as he gets older... :D

Well worth the admission fee :thumb

Saw AV's missus, Lois Pryce, in Oxford, Wednesday night.
She gave a talk and slide show, on her first solo trip from Anchorage, Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, on a Yammy 225 dirt bike...
Unlike Ewan Mc & Charlie B, she had no support crews, spare bikes, technicians, sat nav's or satellite phones, just Lois her bike, tent and a map...
She was very entertaining down to earth... we're hoping to have her back next year for a talk on her London to Cape Town trip.
