Hi All,

At the Nec show I picked up some Austrian route maps, with the popular ride outs marked on them. I have somehow mislaid them and I'm putting an Austrian trip together.

Does anyone know where I can source them?

I have looked at Wapping's posts but cant open the zip files even after downloading mapsource:nenau

any help would be apreciated

Guilty?

Could well have been from our stand, we had some maps to give away that showed a few of the routes in our area. I have 35 day routes on our reception computer for guests to download. Depends where you are planning to go in Austria. We are in Kärnten (Carinthia in English) which is in southern Austria. In most of mainland Europe our region is known as a great biking area, in England it is,as yet, not so well known. If you want more info about us look at our website or send us an Email-the address is on the website. Wherever you go enjoy it, remember the Alps cover a huge area and if you try to cover too large an area you will end up rushing from one place to the next without the time to stop and stare.

Not sure why you can't download them.

If you have Mapsource loaded correctly, they should just open up.

Try saving the file, then using Mapsource to find it.

Failing that, ping up your email and I'll send you them.

Planning one myself for 10 days in the middle of August, using Michelin maps729 (covers Switz and up to Austria) and 730 (covers Austria, Dolimites) which are good and have enough detail to show all the best bits and to join up all the passes. Alpineroads.com are also a good site.

Too many passes, green routes and everthing. I have already changed my routes about 5 times :blast but thats the best bit. As the wifey says. 'Going in the Garage with your maps again dear' (beer fridge in the Garage BTW ) :D:D
Wappings routes are Fantastic as is all the other work he's done :bow:bow, but there is soooooo much choice, it boils your head. More garage time is needed
