Ok,

Looking to see if can get some one to hook few items up for me, could do it myself but as i want a neat job and it to work correctly i am looking into getting a pro to do it.

Prob is most are charging hourly rates and by time them do the work would cost me fortune.

looking for some one like i saw in the UK mags where lad in van comes to your house and sorts it there and then and then fecks off after you hand him some cash.

so do these lads exist over here or is it just going be a case of wither forking out and getting a elec or shop to do it, or do it myself

well i have lad in work with a tenere that is also looking so now there are 3 of us hoping find some one

are ye just adding a few accessories to the bikes?

Believe me it is so easy. I'd never done it before and just tackled it head on.

If I can be of any assistance just shout.

Even just to go through the principles of it all.

i am ok with elec and wouldnt mind trying it but would prefer have it done right and neat.

putting 12v car type socket, hella fog lights and gps on.

have all parts but want to either hook them up to the ignition or switch, dont really want loads of leads attaching to the battery.

prefer to keep all my acessories in a seperate loom s if have probs can just disconnect them and rule them out if i do have elec probs.

+1 on that:thumb2

If it's a BMW you are welcome to look at how I wired up a centec fuse panel on my R1200GS:clap

I'll even give you a hand if you come to Leixlip:Motomartin

was looking at thoes panels, look like the right way to go about adding elec stuff on to the bike

might take you up on that offer when i have the parts fixed onto the bike and just wire them up

More than welcome anytime:thumb2

I made the job easier by wiring the trigger for the relay that controls the battery feed to the Centec to an accessory socket plug which is simply left plugged in!

I fitted the Centec and the relay in the tool tray where it is easily accessable.

The only issue i had was that I didn't have terminals that were big enough to take the 2.5 square cable I wired to the battery so a bit of guntering and soldering was required:eek:
I checked afterwords and halfords have them.

nice one, well i am getting let go in few weeks so once i have a bit fo free time i might get all the parts ready and give it a go and see how i get on.

the fuse box is the way to go i think

Found another one over the weekend - http://www.fuzeblocks.com/

Has an inbuilt relay and allows you to choose which outputs you want switched or not. Only 6 outputs though unlike the centech or the easternbeaver one (a bit more expensive too I think).

I think I might go for this one (I like the inbuilt relay).

Pity wasn’t handier with elec as they do not look too complicated to make.

Inbuilt relay does tidy it up nice but it is dear enough. I don’t think will have more than 3 accessories.

If I saw that at the time it's what I'd have gone for. The inbuilt relay is the way to go, a lot less wiring!

Six outputs is plenty, don't forget you already have another in the headstock for the GPS.

where is the place for the gps in the f650?

just got the fuse box from easter beaver. i like the simplistic design of the seperate relay and the fact he had other bits i needed, but as rlay is so close battery will take bit of tinkering to get it fitted in correctly.

ordered it thursday and got it tody all way from jaan.good service
