Auto ESA setting

not yet. I weigh 90kg so not really a light weight. I would imagine that with panniers and top box I will need to set it in Auto.

I must be fatty when I see 90kg and I think skinny git:)
Mine used to have those settings now the ESA just shows a sad face when I sit on the bike ;)

Ha.....my doctor wants me to loose 4 stone and get down to 90kg

Mine mysteriously lowered itself on Saturday. left it parked for a couple of hours after a 100 mile ride. came back to the bike and it had lowered itself! both feet flat on the floor, and knees bent for the 1st time!
This has made me concerned that the bike could topple off it's sidestand if left parked almost vertical, losing a few centimetres off the suspension height could cause it to topple (especially on a windy day)...
Not massively impressed by this "automatic feature".
Off for it's 1st (600 mile) service today, I will ask the dealer...Maybe it's fixed on later firmware/software (mine's a very late 1200... one of the last before the 1250's).

Don't think it will adjust itself without the engine running. So it should always be the same when you come back to it as it was when you left it.

It's possible it lowered itself before I parked it, but I did not notice when getting off. Either way...it did it on it's own!
I usually ride in Road / Auto...

That is the nature of the beast, self levels according to weight, when on bike pushes you up, and when off, if engine is still running will lower itself a bit, but I only see it adjusting when engine is running.

Page 129 of operator manual. Every third fuel stop “With Dynamic ESA, adjust chassis and suspension”

There ya go. No explanation. But saves that silent moment when the dealer asks!

NOPE. 1250 manual makes no mention of the above whatsoever.
