Autocom and nokia

Asked man at carphone warehouse about a addapter for my 6310i, so I can plug it into my autocom, Oh no sir Nokia stopped all that ? nothing available anywhere else either to my knowledge sir ?????????

Asked autocom when I got my unit they suggested local phone shop......

Wot now ! Am I bolloxed or do U know diffrent ?


Car,nt belive there,s nowt available, have e-mailed autocom just to check.....

Try somewhere like Maplins - they had a selection when I was looking for one.

I've got my Nokia 6310i connected to my Autocom, it just plugs into the phone input on the Autocom unit and into the bottom of the phone. Got my adaptor from local phone shop (private concern) and the lead comes with the Autocom. Lead has a GREY DIN fiting (as opposed to black) for the Autocom end and 2.5mm standard stereo jack for phone end.
Set headset options in accesories settings to automatic answer and away you go (you wont get headset options up in menu until you plug a headset in for the first time!)

They have them in Maplins, best of luck, haven't installed mine yet since the show, will have to get off my big Fat Back**** and get it done.

Bought 3 so far as the slippery suckers keep disappearing, bought from Autocom, SPC's and Maplin (in that order), they all sold the same make and Maplin was the cheapest. The Autocom supplied lead plugs into it (2.5mm jack).

the usuall highly trained, dedicated, high street staff strike again.

Suppose I,ll have,to drag my self to Maplins, (I can spend as long in there as SWMBO can in clothes shops )

Nokia don't do the kit that you need, they only do fully sorted products. You need someone who sells after market kit to get the personal hands free adapter that has the 2.5mm jack socket.
