I use my bike (R1100GS) mostly for commuting, about 90 miles per day. I'd like like to listen to some sounds but headphones drop out of my ears with a lid on and they are fiddley.

I've got an iPod and wondered if an autocom would be any good. Not that bothered about bike to bike or pillion communication.

Any ideas out there?

Autocom

Hi,

I have Autocom fitted to my GSA, it has my minidisc attached, also phone and GPS. It's flippin great!!! Clear as a bell even at higher speeds, 100mph +

(Not that I would consider doing those illegal speeds of course, it would be highly irresponsible)

Would highly recommend it, although it is a bit expensive, but you tend to get what you pay for.

if it's just for the music and you don't need the other features (answering your phone while riding, rider/pillion bike/bike) then you should consider custom molded earplugs with monitors in.

I looked at the ultimate ear ones and ended up getting the Green Leopard (www.greenleopard.co.uk) ones as they are better made (but a bit more expensive)

Because they are made to fit your ear they will not fall out like generic plugs will
