Discovered that the pillion set-up is causing problems to the unit. All works fine until the pillion headset is connected then the sound goes to only one speaker in the rider and pillion headsets? Any idea what would cause this and how to rectify? Is it a lead issue?

If you're feeling daring you could also unscrew the Pro AVI unit and check that the cable isnt damaged where it connects to the PCB. Could also be along the length of the cable; have you routed it somewhere where it could be crushed?

I managed to fix my filtered GPS lead that way, and it took me two attempts to hold the soldering iron the right way round!

My Mrs has a mono headset that suffers this problem. That doesnt explain why yours is also effected does hers. you can see the difference in cabling between the headphones.

I would say it be a short somewhere on the system, the thing to try is plug the pillions headset in by itself to the riders lead to see if its the headset causing the problem. If so you know the headset needs changing or it will be a problem on the pillionds lead coming from the main control unit if it does not happen on the riders lead etc.
