autocom deluxe bit fitting kit

Where have people put the autocom bike fitting kit on the BMW r1200gs? I wanted it on the metal side panel but it fell off due to being uneven. I have a tankbag so infront of me is out of the question. Where have you put it?

I have mine in front of me but low enough to allow for a tank bag...if you use velco sticky pads it doesnt matter if the surface is uneven..

Then the wifes is on the bar held by cable ties..

Its not really under the seat to a point where you can't get at it. wife gets on with the extension lead already plugged into her helmet set, then removes that waterproof cap and plugs in her lead..

I have the BMW tank bag so can't put it on the front part.
You mentioned the Velcro, is that what you did?

Yes i got velcro that has a sticky back to it, you can get it from B&Q and I'm sure other places too.

All i did was cut a square of it for the tank and for the mount then fitted it.

You could do this but mount it elsewhere then to suit the tank bag
