posting these for future reference should anybody need them, nice little bracket by kompost that fits under the maintenace plug bracket, all the wires tuck neatly round the back of the unit. Supply if from inside the fuse box, black green wire from fuse 1, unit is now protected from the 4amp fuse. A 2 pin plug and socket fitted for ease of removal.
bought a small tank bag from HG to keep the ipod and phone in, well until I get a zumo that is (when is Xmas again
)..
you can also see in the fuse box 2 more relays for aux lights and a POS & NEG feed direct from battery for future use
