I have a GSA with an autocom.
There is an intermittent click interference which comes and goes, it speeds up with acceleration but is only present 50% of the time.
I guess the dual spark is interfering.
Any thoughts?
This may have been discussed ad nauseam on previous threads, in which case lead me to the thread and I'll shut up!
Thanks in advance.
Nice weather for riding!

Where,s it wired in to ?
Have you tried moving the unit to diffrent places...
Same with the leads...

Daft things like this can make a huge diffrence as I found out :nenau

I agree with enabb. I am using the intraride rp1 and that picks up noises from the bike. i.e when you rev it!!
Going to move it to the tankbag and will see if that improves it. :thumb

Try repositioning things. I was getting terrible engine related noise on my autocom when used for bike to bike. Turned out to the the tool roll being too near the radio! Moving the radio or tools cured it.

I had something similar 'clicking' noise that was rapid but intermitent. I eventualy traced it, not to the bike but to a broken lead coming out of the helmet. The lead had broken in the sheath and was flexing in the wind. One new helmet lead and all OK.

Had exactly the same problem on mine with Autocom and splitter boxes mounted under the tank. Moved the Autocom to the fuse box.....made a bit of difference but not much....found that the splitters (can't remember the numbers but there are two- one red and black & one red) were picking up radiated interference. I had got them mounted on the top right hand side of the airbox. Moved them to behind the left hand (facing front) side panel (Touratech) of the bike...hey presto ...perfect !! Bit of a tight fit but worth it.

Thanks

I'll have a go at all the above and see what happens.
The unit is in the tail with umpteen wires I have not identified yet ! (I didn't fit it). I have a heated Corbin seat with wires too - dunno if that has an effect. The leads are 5 pin going into 7 pin in the helmets (i.e. old unit goes into new speakers.)

p.s. Re wired things
I wore an aerostich Darien jacket with heated liner out of Canada last autumn following a tour round BC. I did tell the customs that it had wires as it went through the X ray scanner - but the boys still moved fast when it lit up! Don't think I look like the average suicide bomber, but they were well twitched for a while until they swabbed me down to exclude explosives!!

That's most likely.

I'm on my third 'drop down lead' replacements supplied free as 'service items' by my BMW dealership.

The latest has just started doing it as well so I'll be in for another! (It's nuisance and really shouldn't keep happening).
