Autocom Kit L-IW

I have serious thoughts for this new Kit .

By reading marketing material as well as the user manual it seems that there is no phone privacy between rider and passenger .

Since there is not any feedback anywhere , i need help from inside .

Think you'll find that you may have trouble using your phone, it depends on what GPS your using and how you've connected it.

Apparently the Zumo 660 won't work, it has an issue with the mic.

The L-IW is a pretty sophisticated bit of kit with lots of dip-switches allowing you to set up how you like it.
I would e-mail the factory and ask whether it is possible to set it up the way you want it. Do you not want your wife to hear if your GF rings up for a long chat while you are on the bike (or is it much less sinister/fun than that)?

The hole idea is to keep everything in a pocket (except Gps) inclunding my phone , mp3 player . So that would be no problem.

I can see clearly that when receiving a phone call the vox is disabled automatically but is not clear if it is the same for i-vox (communication between driver passenger).

PS. All the phone calls i receive are strictly business related.

Seriously I would call the factory. They are capable of making all sorts of mods to their own kit if required.
If you don't want to share the business phone calls - for obvious reasons - then would you also not want to share a call from a distressed relative?
